Martda`s Old Mexico in Sebastopol

One of the best sit down Mexican restaurants in Sonoma County for flavorful family recipes. By far some of the best flavors in any Mexican food in all of Sonoma County. The fluffy rice, refried beans, whole beans & black beans are top notch & creamy. The New York steaks, chicken and prawns are tender and the sauces are fantastic. Our go to dishes are usually the Cabo San Lucas and the Poncho Villa for dinner & Chicken Enchilada Suiza and Mazatlan Tostada for lunch. We have not been disappointed by any dish we’ve tried.Can be jammed packed & the patio service can suffer when that happens. On super hot days the A/C cannot keep the inside cool. The owner also serves the to go & the inside tables, so the best service is inside. The younger servers in the back patio could benefit from tasting the menu & being able to describe it to someone else. Also to anticipate service needs of the guests before they ask for them (like water refilled).

This restaurant never disappoints. A casual atmosphere with an outdoor patio in the back, is the place to sit. My wife and I always share a platter of food because they give you a generous amount.

Authentic Mexican food! This is Mexican food. It’s hard to eat at other Mexican restaurants when here the food is so much better. Very delicious! Enchiladas and chili rellano were on point, the sauce is finger licking good. Wish I lived closer to order from them more often.

Too much air freshener and the waitress was wearing perfume! I like to smell good when I walk into a restaurant. My last visit unfortunately as I love Martha's cooking. Hard to taste the food when the scents are so overpowering. Very sad

Stopped here for lunch on a whim. Excellent food. Good service. Hidden gem in Sebastopol. Will be returning.

Solid flavors, good selection of beers and wine. The tacos are griddle-fried giving their tortillas a great crunch-chewy texture. Lean over the plate as these tacos are extra full and extra juicy.

This place is one of my favorites! Convenient rates, considerable portions and the staff members are always very friendly.

We waited 40 minutes before they took our order on Sunday night. Then they didn't have one of the dinner items we ordered, but they didn't tell us for another 30 minutes. The food was good when it finally arrived but the service was not.

We ordered the nacho plate with grilled chicken. It was excellent.

I wish that Old Mexico or still at Santa Rosa but. The drive to Sebastopol was worth it the back patio was very relaxing service mantastic people just like in Santa Rosa very courteous and helpful food portions wonderful we will plan on making this track again

Its my first time here dinner with my family i visiting from seattle washington ... the service its so great and friendly the food a good quality and taste so good the traditional mexican hot sauce very good hopefully many restaurant can be like this just amazing

Food is exceptional, delicious as ever even though now you call the order in and pay over the phone and call them when you arrive and they bring it out in a huge bag.

Excellent place - find a seat out back if the weather is good. Great vegetarian options too - not just your basic "no-meat" burritos here. One of the best places around

This is my very favorite place to eat in Sebastopol. Martha and her sister Martha serve up the best authentic Mexican food in town. I always make an excuse to stop by there on my way to and from The Russian River.

Great staff and good Mexican food. In addition to front of restaurant seating there is a covered patio just past the bathrooms. If your drinking age, and would To experience something very nice, ask for A bolla. Enjoy.

This place is amazing! Love the food, large portions, respectful and attentive waiters and waitresses. Unique art and artistic atmosphere. Good food, not bland at all, really put there life into this place.

So good, we love it! Friendly, great food, my husband loves the steak burrito. He says it is the best he has ever had, and he is picky. I hope it will be able to re-open to regular service soon, but there take out is fast and just as good. Thank you Martha's.

We love Martha's. the sangria bola is always on the list as are the jalapeño poppers. It can be a bit warm inside but there is a small patio which is nice as long as the weather allows. Very good food and friendly service.

Avocado dressing is so good, also I love their fish tacos. My husband loves their crispy beef tacos.

Good Mexican in Sebastopol! The portions are pretty big and they have all of the standard Mexican food options. I have been here a few times and the food is consistent but slightly lacking in flavor. The house salsa is delicious.

Martha's had fantastic food and a great, home-y atmosphere (we sat out back on the patio). I got the roast pork plate (forgot the exact name) that was awesome. My wife got a veggie burrito that was excellent and very big. Prices were very reasonable.

The food here is amazing and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I had a wonderful time there at lunch. If you go understand that all the food is really good but the Flan is spectacular even if you don't like flan this will blow you away it is unlike anything i have ever had.
